John Poundstone and his wife, Sherry, have lived in the greater Reno-Tahoe region since 1996. John brings a rich background of experience and executive leadership.

John has served as Senior Leader of Joy! Church in Fernley since 2014. John and Sherry co-founded Bethesda Reno-Tahoe, a parachurch organization that supports various leaders throughout Northern Nevada and the Eastern Sierra.

John also sits on Boards of Directors for missions and development organizations that serve leaders of many churches, ministries and businesses nationally and internationally.

John brings to the table fresh and tailored perspectives, lively thinking, wisdom, passion, connections and a track record of success across multiple disciplines:
